The Duniway has a fabulous location and stylish lobby. While the room was spacious, there were cleanliness issues, and some staff were less responsive than expected. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was delightful, but the service could be more attentive. Overall, a decent choice, but not without its flaws.

My stay was fantastic because it was just a short stroll to the famous Tom McCall Waterfront Park where I could enjoy the serene views, along with being so close to the vibrant Chinatown Historic District, offering great food and sights. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves walking around the city and discovering its charm, although I wish there were later hours for food options after exploring.

I recently stayed at The Duniway for my 40th birthday celebration and New Year’s Eve festivities. The hotel is stunning, with a beautifully designed lobby and inviting ambiance. I loved my city view room with two queen beds. The beds were cozy, and I really enjoyed relaxing on the window seat. The bathroom boasted high-end toiletries, adding a nice touch. Breakfast was impressive, truly high-quality sit-down dining. I had the Breakfast Banh Mi, which blew me away. Staff were friendly throughout my stay, eager to help. It was frustrating when the restaurant required reservations, and we had to improvise our first dinner. The mini-fridge in the room was tiny but, thankfully, fit all our snacks. Unfortunately, the lobby was chilly during our visit, and check-in took longer than expected due to limited staff. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. The evening restaurant experience soured when the manager didn’t address issues in a respectful manner, leaving a negative impression. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, but staff training could definitely improve the overall experience.
